All families and residents in our community deserve strong wages and stable work hours in order to build a good life. But too many of our neighbors who serve our food, stock our shelves and sweep our floors have jobs that grant too few hours on too short notice and require them to be at the beck and call of their employers. All across the city, DC residents have called for full-time, stable jobs that allow people to live and raise families here. Now, our elected officials have the opportunity to pass new rules that will give people access to full-time jobs with predictable schedules. Together, let's raise our voices to our elected representatives on the DC Council to urge them to stand with us and support the Hours and Scheduling Stability Act of 2015! Tell your Councilmembers: Support Just Hours for DC! https://actionnetwork.org/letters/tell-your-councilmembers-support-just-hours-for-dc?source=facebook&
